sbcng.sewan.be (V5) [SEWAN] Unexpected disturbances - 30.06.2021

Beginning: 30.06.2021 – 2.37 PM

Ending: 30.06.2021 – 2.41 PM

Impact: V5 traffic disturbances

Dear customer, dear partner,

We experienced a breif overload on incoming sip messages, which made the processing of sip messages slower, with a maximum measured delays upto 7 seconds in signalling. A backup service took over the load, which restored normal functioning of the service.

In order to permanently fix this issue, we are planning both with our vendors several upgrades of our software, among others : Kamailio 5.5.0, Freeswitch 1.10.6 and rtpengine 10.0

Please remain certain that we take this matter seriously.

Best regards;
