On January 6th, 2026, from 06:30 AM, a planned maintenance will be carried out to migrate the Proximus Brussels xDSL/FTTH collection to a 100 Gbps capacity. During the operation, the main collection will be temporarily switched to the Leuven backup site, which may result in packet loss. Once the upgrade is completed, traffic will be switched back to Brussels, during which additional packet loss may also occur.

No intervention is needed from your side.

DNS information [SEWAN] Unexpected disturbances - 23.03.2023

Impact: general disturbance

 

Dear customer, dear partner,

 

A major network incident has severely degraded or cut off access to all Sewan services (Sophia, Voice, Internet access and Cloud services).

The incident started at 2:57 pm and ended at 8:35 pm.

The operational teams have identified and isolated the source of the incident in the core network.

Services have been operational again since the end of the incident resolution.

Considering the extent of the actions that have been carried out to identify the source of the incident, the verification of all the platforms will still require time and may generate side effects during the evening and the night.

Actions in progress:

Normalizing all network connections on all PA7 Datacenter equipment, throughout the evening to return to a nominal state. Control of all services to return to normal.
