Internet access - ADSL / VDSL [SEWAN] Unexpected disturbances - 08.10.2024

Beginning: 08.10.2024 – 10.13 AM

Ending: 08.10.2024 – 10.40 AM

Impact: Internet services

 

Dear customer, dear partner,

 

We recently suffered from Internet access issue. The situation is back to normal since 10.40AM today. Investigation on going.

 

After deeper investigation, we suspect that the ongoing cyberattack toward Belgian institution may have caused side effects on Sewan infrastructure.

At this stage, we can confirm that all the major ISP in Belgium have been impacted.

At the moment, our security team is still investigating the impacts and the actions to take.

Impact: latency / packetloss on access links

Since this morning we have reports of packetloss and latency on our access links. We are analyzing the problem.

SIP Trunk Sewan [SEWAN] Unexpected disturbances - 03.10.2024

The situation is back to normal. We have not yet received any confirmation from 3CX or Digital Ocean about the root cause of the disturbance.   Our team will remain vigilant in the coming hours.


Beginning: 03.10.2024 – 01.45 PM

Impact: trunk from 3CX Cloud are down

 

Dear customer, dear partner,

Since 1.45 PM, we have reports of 3CX Cloud (Digital Ocean) registration problems on Sophia trunks. We are analyzing the problem.
