At this stage, we can confirm that major operators in Belgium are impacted by it.

Please note that we have been informed that Internet Access links currently delivered by United Mobile (previously known as United Telecom) have been shut down.

Furthermore, please be aware that Proximus sent an official communication stating that they will stop delivering the fixed telephony transit to numbers used by United Mobile (NI C0036/RRT) on April 30th of 2025.

If you may have services currently delivered by United Mobile, please urgently contact our support in order to find a solution for keeping the service active.

General communicate service [SEWAN] Unexpected disturbances - 16.04.2025

Impact: Sip trunk unregistered at 11.44AM.

 

Dear customer, dear partner,

 

Please note that there is an ongoing network issue at our backhaul level. We suspect a ping in LAN that is loosing packages.

keepalived backup got confused by that, and did an automatic master/slave switch on DB cluster, forcing a switchover for safety reasons.

This caused a 3 to 10 minutes deregistration of Sip Trunks.

The situation is under control. Our VoIP team is now analyzing the root cause of the network issue.
