Impact: small number of packets may be lost on internet access

 

Dear customer, dear partner,

On January 6th, 2026, from 06:30 AM, a planned maintenance will be carried out to migrate the Proximus Brussels xDSL/FTTH collection to a 100 Gbps capacity. During the operation, the main collection will be temporarily switched to the Leuven backup site, which may result in packet loss. Once the upgrade is completed, traffic will be switched back to Brussels, during which additional packet loss may also occur.

No intervention is needed from your side.

Please note that our technical team will perform a maintenance on Mikrotik CCR-2004. The Goal is to upgrade the firmware to the version 7.13.5 to fix an OSPF bug and enable Active/Active mode. During this period, your CPE will be unreachable for a new minutes and you we lost your internet session.
