Impact: [MOBILE] Disruption affecting e-SIM porting
Dear customer, dear partner,
Over the past few days, Proximus has been experiencing technical issues affecting the porting of mobile lines to virtual “e-SIM” cards.
A fix was implemented last weekend; however, it does not appear to be working as expected.
This may cause disruptions in e-SIM mobile activations and, consequently, extend porting timelines or even render the mobile number inaccessible for several hours.
Therefore, we kindly ask you to temporarily prioritize mobile porting on physical SIM cards rather than on e-SIMs.
Only e-SIM porting is affected. New number orders on e-SIM are functioning properly, as are porting requests on physical SIM cards.
We expect a technical correction within the next few days and will inform you as soon as the issue has been fully resolved.
